"Science Sizzles"

Please join Yorkshire Academy for a year-long celebration of one of life's most intriguing subjects, SCIENCE.  Physicist, Isidor Isaac Rabi said, “Science is a great game. It is inspiring and refreshing. The playing field is the universe itself.” Well, we hope all of our very inquisitive students ranging from 18 month old Cottage cherubs to our more sophisticated 5th grade scientists  enjoy a wide array of discoveries this year in the ‘game of science.'

Our YA thespians have recently performed Willy Wonka, Aladdin, & Jungle Book, what could be next? You'll have to wait untilthe title is revealed November 6th during Social Studies Night.

The PSIA Academic District Competition is scheduled for March 28th. Dozens of YA students will compete, and are working very hard in hopes of advancing to the state meet on May 2nd at TCU in Fort Worth.

The Yorkshire Foundation’s Free Parenting Series

Join us for an educational series developed specifically for parents. Each program is free of charge, requires no reservations, and is open to the community. Our next program, Safety on the Internet, will be held February 10th.
